Mazatlan
Mazatlan is situated just below the tropic of Cancer
and serves as Mexico's original "Riviera city."
When compared with Cancun or even with Acapulco, it's not
very big on the party scene, but certainly has much to offer
to those students who want a more relaxed, quiet Spring Break! Mazatlan
is a bit cooler (temperature-wise!) than other cities further south and a visit
there will definitely feature more encounters with
natives/locals than with other popular Mexican resort towns.

Myrtle
Beach
Myrtle Beach is to the United States what Acapulco is
to Mexico; a calmer alternative to Daytona Beach (as
Acapulco is to Cancun)... with a bit less tourism and more
locals (and some wealthier, non-college types visiting here
as well!).
Located along the South Carolina coast, Myrtle Beach is
great for those who take their beaches more seriously than
their partying! Nightlife and traditional seashore
amusements are still plentiful even if not spectacular. Click

South
Padre Island
There's alot more going on here than just Spring
Break! Located in the state of Texas, San Padre Island
offers year round fun, entertainment, and has a bit more of
a "family feel" to it than your average Spring Break
destination. Not far from Mexico, San Padre Island has a
certain unique kind of charm one must personally experience
to fully understand and appreciate. Of course, the town really comes to
life during Spring Break season-- and is a definite
"must see" for all college student vacation
enthusiasts! Click
